Modelbau Dörr, formerly Modellbau Joseph Dörr & Sohn, was founded on 6th May 1946 by Joseph Dörr and was taken over by his son Werner Dörr who continued to run the company until 1999. Over the years the company has been very successful and has expanded immensely.
In 1999 Werner Dörr handed over the management to his three children:
Elke Dörr, Hans-Josef Dörr and Manuela Dörr.
The company consists of more than 50 qualified employees and specialises in the custom manufacturing of casting models, master models, gauges, fixtures, molds, injection molds and foam molds.
